Online travel site has changed its name to, with the hope that the new name will create a clearer brand for the company.

The 2-year-old Manhattan-based dot-com offers travel advice, but unlike its larger competitors, Orbitz and Travelocity, doesn't book trips.

The new name, which is derived from "savants," is meant to reflect the company's focus on the travel agents' specific expertise. Founder and Chief Executive David Feit is hiring two new salespeople to help promote the rebranded site.
